We're happy to announce that the Sacramento Blues Revue has been awarded the 2008 Sacramento Area Music Award (SAMMIE). We accept this award in the loving memory of our dearly departed and the one and only, Zaidee Cole. Our hats are off to the other nominees, especially our friend and favorite Sacramento musician, Jimmy Pailer. Contgratulations also goes out to Jeff Watson and Dave Garriety for their SAMMIE Critic's Choice awards for guitar and bass players. Thanks for your support! We are mixing down our Northern California Blues Festival performance where Elvin Bishop and Maria Mulduar headlined. We should have a live cd from the project - very soon.
